The Space in Between (2023) is a 7-minute film that aims to confront my (mainly Euro-American) audience’s relationship with empty space and time. It discusses how people attempt to eliminate emptiness in their daily lives through exploring waiting time, habits, scrolling, and home decor. By interviewing Szabi, a man who studies and practices the Dharmas of Buddhism, the film attempts to bring a counter-perspective on emptiness and aims to highlight the meaning and the importance of intervals.
